Royal Caribbean and Best Western Give-In to ARTA pressure

This title is a prediction of things to come as the ARTA, Association of Retail Travel Agents, joins hands with Royal Caribbean in a last-ditch-effort to stiffle the competition from Direct Travel Sales Organizations. Stopping short or actually calling companies like YTB, scams, instead
Barry Richcreek, Chairman of ARTA calls the industry MLM/CARD MILLS.

The idea that our customers would actually become part-time travel agents, is not new to this industry, according to Al Boek of http://RobertsResorts.Net, they, the conventional dinosaur
travel agencies have been doing this for years, offering free cruises and commissions or kick-backs to anyone willing to book cruises with 10 or 12 of their closest friends.

But they have really shot themselves in the foot this time. When the news gets out what the ARTA, Royal Caribbean and Best Western have cooked up, your going to start seeing a lot more Fam trips being offered because they have just pissed off an estimated 500,000 new RTA, referring travel agents, their families, friends, business associates and church members across the US.

Also important to note, but maybe not noticed yet by the ARTA as they never mentioned it, YTB has just announced, earlier in the week, a 10 course, internet-based travel certification program for it's "Card Mill" Travel Reps.

Anyone wondering how the story ends...needs to research on Goggle, AL Williams, another
direct sales organization that revolutionized the way insurance was sold across the US by training, licensing and putting over 500,000 new insurance agents on the streets of America,
by offering a better product for less money.
